Coaching Services
Coaching: Elan Performance Inc. offers a unique and holistic style of coaching that involves
a creative and invigorating process of self-discovery, growth, and accountability for action.
Each coaching relationship begins with a "team-building" session, during which both coach
and client get to know each other and discuss how they will work together. During this session
both coach and client design the ground work for the coaching, which includes the format
and logistics of the partnership and expectations, and explore the client's values and intentions.
Initial commitment: Creating change is a challenging yet invigorating process that involves
periods of great growth, excitement, achievement, and celebration, as well as periods of
resistance and frustration. All this is part of the journey, as limits are tested and stretched, new
strategies are explored, new perspectives are taken, and desired changes become habits.
In order to honor this process, engrain new patterns, and to make the coaching experience as
fulfilling and successful
as possible, an initial commitment to 6 months of coaching is strongly
recommended.
Rates: Rates vary according to the coaching agreement and normally include two sessions of
coaching per month, with follow-up and accountability support between sessions via phone
and/or email.

Testimonials
You are so perceptive and I appreciate you so much!! ....what I have been doing for most of my life is digging, excavating to find out at the core what was “wrong” with me…but what I have come across what is right with me!!” Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me dig faster – you brought in the big machinery and we uncovered the gates... There is a treasure trove in there….so exciting! ___________________________________________________________________ I just wanted to write to tell you how much I am enjoying our coaching. You are a fabulous coach.
I always feel that you are present, are listening and most importantly, are connected – you “get” me. It feels like we are on the same page and there is no “struggle” involved or that you are imposing your beliefs onto me and I am left to sort out what is me and what is you - but rather I feel that you are helping me to expose the true me that feels a bit locked up right now. And it is working!
I have had coaching in the past and it has never been this experience. I am truly grateful, and it is fun. : ) I’m loving it and I feel very blessed. - C. Munroe Entrepreneur & Reiki Master ___________________________________________________________________ I found the course (Re-Claiming Your Vitality) to be exactly what I needed at this point in my Cancer Journey. It was very informational, structured and because I was willing to do the work, I got alot out of it. I really would have liked it to continue. It was a great place to discuss, express and learn in a safe environment. I felt there was so much information and would like more time to implement to see changes and have discussion and followup. I love the support of everyone within the group. I will never forget them. - J. COACHING FAQ's:
What is Coaching?
Coaching is an empowering partnership in which the client is inspired and supported in
maximizing his or her personal and professional potential. The coaching journey is
thought-provoking, creative, self-exploratory, and inspirational.
What is a Coach?
Professional coaches provide ongoing partnerships designed to empower their clients
towards greater fulfillment, balance, and magnificence in their personal and professional
lives. Coaches support their clients in improving their performance and enhancing the
quality of their lives.
How does Coaching work?
At the heart of every coaching relationship is that the client is naturally creative and
resourceful; nothing is broken, nor needs fixing! Professional coaches are trained to
listen, observe, and ask powerful questions that seek to evoke ideas, solutions and
strategies from the client.
The client is pushed and stretched often beyond his comfort zone for the sake of his
own learning and growth, and is held accountable to his commitments. The coach holds
the client's objectives and goals in perspective, as they relate to the client's bigger agenda,
and seeks to propel their client towards their biggest and most magnificent life. The coach
provides support to enhance the skills, the resources, and the creativity that the client
already
has, and thus creates an immensely empowering environment for change.
Am I a Coaching Candidate?

growth- highly motivated to make change

Word on Failure:
In coaching failing is different than being a failure. Failure tends to be one of our biggest
fears and also one of the biggest obstacles standing in the way of our dreams. Fear of
failure may even be standing in your way right now, as you contemplate making a change
in your life, or even committing to coaching!
To get out of our own way and pursue a bigger life, we must embrace possibility and accept
failures as opportunities to enhance our learning, growth, and competency. Failure is an
essential part of the learning process. It is a sign that we are stretching our limits, pushing
our boundaries, and gaining competence in areas of previous incompetence.
Just imagine how many times you fell in the process of learning how to walk or ride a bike.
Without the fear of failure, you tried again and again until your goal of walking or riding a
bike was mastered. Fear of failure is learned. As babies and young children we had not yet
learned this fear and therefore made failed attempts repeatedly, each attempt being more
successful than the previous, and never once feeling like a failure in the process. Just imagine
what life would be like, if you still still held failure from the perspective of a child who has no
fear of it. Let go of the fear of failure and open yourself up to a whole new world of possibility!
